Jessica F.B. Jefferson, LCSW-QS

Are you everyone’s go to person? The strong one? The one who holds it down for everyone else, while silently falling apart? Does your work-life imbalance leave you overwhelmed by your to-do lists with no time for self-care? Can you relate? If so, you are the superhero!

If you feel guilty for taking care of and making time for yourself, you are probably a superhero with a well-worn cape, and that is honorable. However, in order to love and live wholeheartedly, you must be well. Let’s work together to get you the tools to live and experience your best life, honor yourself, give your best yes to you.

Everyone needs someone to turn to, a voice of reason, a reality check, and a cheerleader, all of which are aspects of Social Support.   I have been working in mental health and substance abuse settings with various specialized populations 2003. From human trafficking victims, re-entering citizens (adult male felons returning to the community post incarceration), juvenile sex-offenders, childhood victims of abuse, neglect and abandonment to individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness.    For the professional working with high-risk populations, the exposure to trauma and grief can lead to burnout and an inability to manage life.  I am here to help you.

Therapy is the first step to self-care, it is an hour that is all about you and meeting your needs. If you are ready to be supported in a way only another superhero would understand, give me a call to set up your free 15 minute consultation.
